Fire in the Snow - Researching Dog Pound

For Fire in the Snow, Aynoa recommended the film Dog Pound as she wanted similar cinematography. The main scene she mentioned was the prison induction. Here are the shots which inspired our film.

Fire in The Snow Poster

Here is an experimental photo I created for the Fire in the Snow film I worked on. I used the stills from the film of the character Lynda zipping up her prison Overalls and her escaping into the night as the main visual aspects, as well as the use of a fire overlay to represent the flames she adores so much, as well as matching the colours of the prison overalls with the colour of the flames surrounded by the dark prison and the night. I'm not particularly happy with this poster however creating it was an enjoyable process.

Projection Mapping Workshop

Projection Mapping Workshop

I booked a optional projection mapping workshop as I was curious to what the possibilities were and could maybe use the information later for an art film piece. However I found this workshop to be more of a lecture and found it very unhelpful as there was so much information, I could not learn without experience. However after attending this lecture I now know a few tips to experiment via after effects which I will attempt in the future.
